The challenge 

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful execution of projects in the Life Sciences sector. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to achieve project objectives and ensure timely and quality delivery. The project manager is our representative of the project to clients, partners and contractors and deals with different phases such as feasibility studies, design to handover to operations. The project manager develops and validates the design of all technical components of the project.  

 

You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the technical teams, quality, project schedule and cost targets; 

  • Coordinating the design staff, including potential contractors and partners; 

  • Monitoring and adjusting staffing as necessary;  

  • You initiate and set up technical meetings; 

  • Review and approve periodic reports; 

  • You monitor and ensure that the design of all technical systems within the scope of the project meets the requirements; 

  • You discuss progress and contract variants with the client. 

This is you 

  • Minimum ten (10) years or more Engineering experience in Food /Pharmaceutical / Industrial Engineering EPCm projects. 

  • Advanced knowledge of Good Engineering and Good Manufacturing Practices.  

  • Worked within the engineering or construction industry, with a clear preference for pharmaceutical industry experience. 

  • Commercially sensitive and focused on optimizing business results, strong external network /contacts in the LifeScience sector and business development track record 

  • In-depth knowledge of Dutch, European and international codes and standards 

  • Several related engineering experience with EPCm companies overseeing manufacturing environments. 

  • Must have high level of spoken and written in English. 

  • Excellent communication skills in order to communicate, present, assert and speak to all the different stakeholders involved 

  • willing to travel abroad sometimes
