Job Requirements
Education: BE in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
Languages: Advanced proficiency in English & Hindi (written and spoken)
Experience: 5–7 years in a similar role; EPC industry preferred; multinational & multicultural exposure
Technical Knowledge:
Relevant codes & standards for project execution
Operational & production regulations, statutory compliances
API, Sterile units, Chemical Manufacturing Facilities (Concept, Basic & Detail Engineering)
MS Schedule, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, Navisworks
Indian engineering regulations, RIBA Plan of Work
NFPA, NBC, IS & ISO Standards
FDA guidelines, cGMP norms, CCOE & OISD norms, Factory Inspectorate Rules, ASHRAE
Additional Skills:
Project planning, scheduling, budgeting, monitoring
Problem-solving, workload prioritization, proactive communication
Familiarity with power systems in Data Centers
Other:
Ability to meet tight deadlines & budgets
Travel/relocation as per project needs
Key Activities
Lead project design, execution & management
Develop conceptual designs, basic engineering & coordinate detail engineering
Participate in HAZOP studies
Prepare project execution plans & guidelines
Coordinate with site construction teams
Client, contractor & vendor meetings; support marketing during bids
Prepare weekly/monthly project status reports
Handle domestic/international clients across all project phases
Check HVAC, Civil & MEP drawings
Manage procurement, vendor evaluation & technical recommendations
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements
Expertise in project costing, invoicing & cross-functional coordination
