Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced BIM Modeler specializing in Mechanical (HVAC) systems.
The selected candidate will be responsible for creating, updating, and coordinating BIM models for MEP services while ensuring compliance with project standards, BIM workflows, Level of Development (LOD), and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain BIM models for HVAC systems including:
Ductwork
Ventilation systems
Chilled water piping
Utilize Autodesk Revit to create accurate and detailed 3D models
Interpret design inputs, drawings, and project documentation
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including:
Plumbing & Firefighting
Electrical & ELV
Architectural
Structural
Generate Combined Services Drawings (CSDs)
Perform clash detection and resolution using Navisworks Manage or similar tools
Extract drawings, schedules, and quantity take-offs from BIM models
Ensure all drawings and documentation are updated and controlled throughout the project lifecycle
Support BIM Coordinator/Manager in:
Model audits
Quality checks
Documentation
Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of BIM outputs
Provide regular progress updates to reporting managers/superiors
Job requirements
Software Proficiency
Autodesk Revit (Mandatory)
Navisworks Manage (Clash Detection)
AutoCAD (Basic)
ACC and other cloud collaboration platforms
Skills & Competencies Required
ITI / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
3–5 years of experience in BIM modelling for Mechanical (HVAC) systems
Knowledge of relevant codes and standards such as:
ASHRAE
SMACNA
Design experience will be an added advantage
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Experience working on international projects
Self-driven, disciplined, punctual, and hardworking
Basic knowledge of Revit plugins for automation
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
