Currently, we are in the process of implementing a digital transformation programme in the business that is aimed to modernise, upgrade, and integrate digital technologies. These tools will enable us to deliver value for ourselves, our clients and society. Therefore, we are looking for a hands-on and result orientated Programme Manager to help us to drive through our Digital Transformation Programme.

Within this role the Programme Manager will lead and manage the programme through to delivery of new capabilities, realisation of benefits and programme close-out. The Programme Manager will be responsible for the programme delivery, pulling together all elements to ensure the programme objectives and requirements are being met, whilst maintaining business performance.

The role involves working with the group wide cross-functional business teams and projects in the international context. Programme Management experience is essential. You will coordinate a program team, functional reporting line, and will work with multiple flex team members. You will report to the Commercial Director, who also holds the role of Programme Director.

Your responsibilities

The main goal of your role is to manage the program and to control the portfolio of improvement projects. In this role you acts as Change Manager. This means you derive and implement Improvement strategy, policies, standards and guidelines and continuously initiate, support and coach cross functional Improvement Activities and structural optimizations to support the operational business of the firm. If we would put it in tasks, you can think of the following:

  • Day to day programme management, working together with programme board and workstream leaders
  • Fulfil operational project description tasks if needed, expedite projects in depth on an operational level
  • Facilitate the development of the programme blueprint, along with input from stakeholders
  • Developing and driving the programme plan
  • Plan, design and proactively manage the programme overall progress and performance, mitigate risks, resolve issues, identify and initiate corrective actions as appropriate
  • Provision of programme support including action log and RAID log, updated plans and progress and exceptions reports​
  • Manage stakeholders and communication within own scope of work
  • Interface and report to Senior Responsible Owner on progress, performance, risk and issues on a regular basis, provide input for reporting to Sponsoring Group
  • Identify gap in the programme and arising issues, initiate extra activities and management interventions where required
  • Manage the blueprint and ensure that the capabilities being delivered are in line with the agreed blueprint. Ensure the delivery of outputs/services from the projects meet programme requirements in line with the programme blueprint, and are of the appropriate quality, on time and within budget
  • Control and manage programme budget, monitor cost and expenditure together with the cost controller.

Our expectations

As a Programme Manager you are used to work to schedule (tight deadlines) and budgets. You are able to prioritise your own workload and the workload of your team. You are used to work in an international context, across different local offices and group functions.


  • Degree Qualified
  • Certification and experience in Programme Management and/or Business Change Management
  • Previous experience seeing Programmes and Business changes through from concept to implementation, including transition and embedding to operation phases/business as usual
  • Experience with and/or strong affinity with digital technologies, digital transformation
  • Typically, 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Willingness to support other team members
  • Very good proactive communicator, fluent in English (written and verbal), other European languages desirable but not essential.
